Popular Lucid Artists singer-songwriter Mark Schultz is featured on the cover of the December 1, 2017 edition of CCM Magazine. CCM contributor (and fellow cover artist) Andrew Greer talks with Schultz about Christmas and how a tragic moment resulted in a positive shift in thinking for he and his family around the holidays.

When Greer approached Schultz about the subject of adoption (a topic covered in the premiere of Episode 5 of Dinner Conversations with Mark Lowry & Andrew Greer, in which Schultz was featured) he replied, “I had such a great experience being adopted, so it’s not a big jump for me to say, ‘Oh, we could be adopted by God.’ That’s not true for everybody, but I’ve lived it. Growing up with my mom and dad, I thought, I want you to be proud of me. I want to do something so you never say, ‘Did we make a wrong choice?’ But they’ve never made me feel like, Hey, you have to do this or else… They say, ‘There’s nothing you can do to make us love you more. There’s nothing you can do to make us love you less.’ That’s an echo of what God has said [to us].” To read the full interview in CCM Magazine for FREE, please CLICK HERE.
