De-Plumed

After five years of group inactivity, The Choir turns in its second CD within a twelve month period. However, de-plumed isn’t full of the band’s typical alternative rock experimentation, but rather, deconstructed acoustic renditions of one track from all dozen previous studio albums. In doing so, this disc is both a perfect introduction for new listeners and a chance for old timers to hear its most celebrated songs in a stripped down setting, all the while retaining the group’s sophisticated songwriting style that remains relevant after two and a half decades in the game.
