fritzpw_admin waves at everyone.

point_of_grace waves at everyone.

fritzpw_admin says: Thanks for coming to our event tonight everyone, we are glad you could join us.

kellyatccm says: Denise will be answering the first round of questions.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #62 from speaking: I would like to know how Point of Grace gets ready before a performance?

point_of_grace says: That's funny. Well we usually have some kind of dressing room.

point_of_grace says: Basically we just get our make-up out and start getting ready.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #35 from guest21: Hey Point of Grace, what will the new album be like?

point_of_grace says: It's a little differnt than our albums in the past, but we absolutely love it!

point_of_grace says: We approached the music a little different than normal by not making it such a block harmony approach.

point_of_grace says: The music is more progessive. But not too far of a departure for our longtime fans. It's still who we are as Point of Grace are.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #89 from painted_horses: Do any of you have any special pets?

point_of_grace says: I have an English Springer named Dixie. However, last weekend, my 4-year-old Price got to babysit a pet from his school—a guinea pig named Fluffy.

point_of_grace says: Needless to say, Mom is glad we got to send it back.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #84 from briana: I would like to know how POG balances being moms and being singer/songwriters?

point_of_grace says: That's a good question. Honestly that is a stuggle that we struggle with every day.

point_of_grace says: I don't know any Mom that doesn't struggle with balance.

point_of_grace says: Boundaries are extremely imnportant and sometimes, like this past week for the four of us, we had to sit down and re-evaluate some of those working boundaries.

point_of_grace says: The most important thing that I've learned is without time to reflect on God's word, and His love for me, I don't do any of those things very well. So that's a priority.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #102 from jodi103: What is your favorite candy or dessert?

point_of_grace says: My favorite candy is Cherry Tangy Taffy, (that is different than Laffy Taffy).

point_of_grace says: As for my favorite dessert, I love the good old white cake cupcakes with butter cream frosting.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #116 from guest41: What do you do in your free time?

point_of_grace says: Lately I haven't had much free time.

point_of_grace says: But I love to go to Target, without children, and just take my time going through the aisles.

kellyatcmm says: Leigh will now be answering your questions.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #28 from treeva: Leigh, how is being in Point of Grace different now that you know what you are doing? How is this different from Truth and Karen/Leigh?

point_of_grace says: It is much different in that people actually recognize you, because when you are in Truth you are more of a group than individuals.

point_of_grace says: Point of Grace is 4 girls, and Truth is 28 people.

point_of_grace says: In Truth we were on the road a lot more.

point_of_grace says: It has been a privilege to have more say in putting the record together, picking the songs and being in the studio with Point of Grace.

point_of_grace says: And we're all girls so the bus always smells good.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #139 from painted_horses: What would your ultimate vacation be?

point_of_grace says: I had what I consider an amazing vacation when my husband and I celebrated our 7-year-anniversary by going to Maui.

point_of_grace says: We went with Shelley and Denise and their husbands, it was before Shelley and I had children.

point_of_grace says: Heather and her husband came too on their honeymoon, so that was the ultimate, of what I had been a part of.

point_of_grace says: In the future I would love to go to Italy and learn about some of my husband's heritage and history.

point_of_grace says: His grandparents came over from Sicily; and I'd love to be able to impart some of that history to our daughter.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #126 from mountaingrl: What is/are your favorite children's book(s)?

point_of_grace says: Oh goodness, I was given one in case you ever wonder from Max Lucado - I love the illustrations.

point_of_grace says: No No Noah, my daughter loves it.We read that one a lot.

point_of_grace says: That's probably the first one that I can remember and we still read it; sweet illustrations of the animals and a sweet message.

point_of_grace says: The Pumpkin Patch is another great one. It's a metaphor of cleaning the pumpkins inside and out, and filling it with the light which is a great story.

point_of_grace says: My favorite time of the day is with my child sitting down to read a book together.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #129 from mollybrown: What is your favorite song on the new album?

point_of_grace says: My favorite one is the title cut for several reasons.

point_of_grace says: It was the first one that we chose for the record, so it has a sentimental value to me.

point_of_grace says: We were sitting around the conference table and literally when the chorus hit we all knew it was it, and lyrically where we are in our world and where I am as a mother, it spoke to me.

point_of_grace says: My favorite ballad for me is "For All You've Done."

point_of_grace says: It's a beautiful, stripped-down ballad that we all fell in love with.

point_of_grace says: The demo was a male voice, and we wondered how we could do it.

point_of_grace says: The lyrics in the beginning of the song starts out, "Oh Cleanser of the mess I've made...."

point_of_grace says: It's a modern-day term of worship and is to me, a beautiful way to say thank you.

point_of_grace says: So that one's really special too.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #157 from guest25: What is your favorite thing about being a member of Point of Grace?

point_of_grace says: [laughs] Seriously, and I'm so not teasing, at the end of this month it will be year, they find the best restaurants in the world.

point_of_grace says: I have eaten the best foods in the last year.

point_of_grace says: And my other favorite thing is they are true friends of mine, we pal around.

point_of_grace says: It is so much of a joy to share the stage with them.

point_of_grace says: I can't say enough great things about Heather, Shelley and Denise.

point_of_grace says: They are really special girls and they love the Lord, and I'm attracted to that, their food and their fellowship.

kellyatccm says: Next up we have Shelley answering your questions.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #155 from milkman71: How did you know the person you married was THE one?

point_of_grace says: I think that you kind of get this peaceful feeling, even before he asked me to marry him, I just had this gut feeling that it was the right thing.

point_of_grace says: When it's right you'll just know, you know?

point_of_grace says: That's what people say, and it's totally true, this strange contentment, it's a sixth sense.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #131 from painted_horses: Whose CDs have been in your player lately?

point_of_grace says: There's this new guy out Jadon Lavik.

point_of_grace says: It's so good, like if you listen to it three times you know all the songs, it's so catchy and kind of John Mayer-ish.

point_of_grace says: And our new CD, so I'm trying to re-learn my parts.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #8 from guest15: Do you like Switchfoot?

point_of_grace says: Yeah I do, I'm not super familiar with the album, but I know the big hits and I like them.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #181 from newsgirl4him: What's the craziest thing a fan has ever given or said to you? The most special?

point_of_grace says: THe craziest thing was when this guy came all the way from Denver to Arkansas to propose to me.

point_of_grace says: Because God told him that he was supposed to marry me.

point_of_grace says: But what God forgot to tell him was that I was all ready engaged to David.

point_of_grace says: He met me backstage and gave me roses and he introduced himself, and I introduced him to David my fiance.

point_of_grace says: So he gets this weird look and then walks away, and then I look in the roses and there was a card that said he wanted to talk to me.

point_of_grace says: When I got home I was looking through the fan mail and he had been writing me long letters for four months, and in the last one it said that he was coming down to propose to me.

point_of_grace says: That was craziest thing.

point_of_grace says: The fans that will come and give me their scrapbooks, these works of arts, those are so special.

point_of_grace says: I treasure those and it's so nice that people take the time to do that.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #164 from painted_horses: What's your favorite movie/TV show?

point_of_grace says: My favorite TV show is The Apprentice right now.

point_of_grace says: My favorite movie of all time [pause] My favorite Christmas movie is Miracle on 34th Street - the old one.

point_of_grace says: How about Rocky III?

point_of_grace says: Just kidding.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #198 from painted_horses: What was your most embarrasing moment?

point_of_grace says: Way back a long time ago when we were Say So and we were singing, I was wearing a suit jacket and it had three big buttons and the middle one popped up in the middle of the concert.

point_of_grace says: It was really, really embarrassing.

point_of_grace says: The worst part was when I looked down and saw the button on the floor.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #197 from guest24: Do you think there will be a Point of Grace II with Ella, Caroline and the Darbs?

point_of_grace says: Well we'd have to have one more little girl, and I don't think Denise is gonna be helping us out.

point_of_grace says: It may just be up to me about producing the fourth POGster.

point_of_grace says: I'll have to talk to my husband.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #208 from kcrew: What is your favorite comfort food to eat?

point_of_grace says: I love chips with any kind of cheese dip and salsa; Mexican is a favorite.

point_of_grace says: I juat discovered the most incredible thing at Coldstone Creamery, cake batter ice cream.

point_of_grace says: It is my new favorite sweet food.

point_of_grace says: Then they have this thing called birthday cake remix.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #211 from guest46: Who is the best cook in the group?

point_of_grace says: I don't know if I'm the best cook, but I probably rank in the top 2.

point_of_grace says: It's probably because I love food more than anybody else.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #206 from guest27: What's the hardest thing about being in Christian music?

point_of_grace says: Christian music is not as big, and we always have people helping us, but we do a lot of work besides just singing on stage.

point_of_grace says: That's the hardest part is not just singing, the hard part is the business part.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #122 from welovepog: What are your favorite Christian groups?

point_of_grace says: Nichole Nordeman (she's not a group), Watermark, Phillips, Craig & Dean - they're awesome vocalists. Love the Katinas.

kellyatccm says: Last but not least, we've got Heather answering your questions.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #95 from guest27: Heather, how's the baby doing?

point_of_grace says: He is wonderful, he's getting bigger every day and he sleeps and eats great.

point_of_grace says: And his big sister loooves him.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #152 from milkman71: If someone had never heard your music before, which album would you suggest listening to first?

point_of_grace says: Goodness that's so hard, I would say probably The Whole Truth becuase it has my favorite song on it, and that's "The Great Divide."

point_of_grace says: It's the message of the gospel in a song.

point_of_grace says: There are so many great songs on that record.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #193 from kcrew: Will Heather and Brian try to start their own church in Louisville?

point_of_grace says: [laughs] Not at this point, no.

point_of_grace says: We have way too much going on right now.

point_of_grace says: He is full-time in seminary and I am full-time doing what I do.

point_of_grace says: There's too much on our plate and we felt we needed to simplify our lives a bit.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #224 from welovepog: Do you pick out your own clothes for a concert?

point_of_grace says: Well, we do, but we actually have a stylist who shops for us for stage clothes.

point_of_grace says: And we get a lot of clothes from our photoshoots.

point_of_grace says: And then we get to choose from that what we want to wear at our concerts.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #227 from newsgirl4him: Do your husbands ever come on the road with you? Or did they in the past?

point_of_grace says: THey actually do occasionally.

point_of_grace says: They all have full-time jobs, or my husband is full-time school.

point_of_grace says: For a special trip they might come out, but usually not during the week.

point_of_grace says: Over the summer we got a few buses and everybody came, it was a party on wheels.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #216 from newsgirl4him: Do you have a favorite way to pass time on the bus?

point_of_grace says: It's different now because I have kids, we watch Barney and Nemo.

point_of_grace says: Now it's playing with the kids.

point_of_grace says: But I like to read or take a nap, always a wonderful thing.

point_of_grace says: These days we're pretty busy on the bus.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #219 from welovepog: What's your favorite ice cream?

point_of_grace says: I'm probably the only person on the face of the earth who doesn't like ice cream.

point_of_grace says: I've never been a big fan.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #135 from pog21: When will we be able to see pictures of Nate?

point_of_grace says: [laughs] Our management has been asking too.

point_of_grace says: I have been trying my best to get good pictures of him and my daughter, but it's just a very hard thing to do with a toddler.

point_of_grace says: He doesn't like to sit still, but hopefully soon.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #124 from milkman71: How do you find time to stay physically fit?

point_of_grace says: That's a good question to ask a girl who jsut had a baby.

point_of_grace says: It's a priority, you want to look your best, so accountability knowing that you're going to be in front of a bunch of people.

point_of_grace says: And we have a cruise in January so that's great motivation.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #133 from katie16: What are your favorite things to do with you kids?

point_of_grace says: With my little girl at nighttime we have a little Mommy-Ella time and we rock for as long as she likes.

point_of_grace says: We sing and talk and pray and she asks questions, that's a really sweet time.

point_of_grace says: It's good to have that one-on-one time with her, rocking time at night.

point_of_grace says: I am not so neat and neither is Leigh. Shelley and Denise are the neat freaks

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #196 from newsgirl4him: Do you have a favorite Bible verse? If so, what is it?

point_of_grace says: It changes so often depending where I am in life, what phase I'm in.

point_of_grace says: Sonic.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #232 from milkman71: What group did you enjoy touring with the most?

point_of_grace says: Oh my, that's hard because I've loved every group that we've toured with.

point_of_grace says: 4HIM was a great tour because they're great friends of ours.

point_of_grace says: We also toured with Phillips, Craig & Dean way way back.

point_of_grace says: Watermark, how do you choose? So all of them.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #243 from guest25: Heather, is hard for you being the only POGster not living in Tennessee?

point_of_grace says: Yes it is, it takes a lot of extra work on my part and the girls part.

point_of_grace says: A lot of time I can't do the things that need to get done in town because I'm three hours away.

point_of_grace says: I have to drive down to catch the bus.

point_of_grace says: It would be easier for me to live in Nashville, but for now we are in Louisville for a reason.

kellyatccm presents the speaker with question #246 from newsgirl4him: Do you have a favorite store to clothes shop at?

point_of_grace says: That depends on the mall or shopping area.

point_of_grace says: Nordstrom for department stores if I had to choose one.

point_of_grace says: It's funny becuase there's not one in Nashville or Louisville, so we have to travel.
