Level Ground
The thought behind Level Ground is good, bringing to light the idea that everyone is in need of grace. That thought, however, is not enough to leverage the quality of this album. The lack of inflection and originality may cause it to get lost in the wake of releases from Kristian Stanfill and David Crowder Band. It does succeed on a version of Tim Hughes’ “Everything (God in My Living),” which works with a simplified vocal and limited instruments.
