Thursday, March 21, 2013
The brand new and highly anticipated record from Audio Adrenaline, Kings & Queens (Fair Trade Services), dropped last Tuesday and released to much acclaim. Between radio airplay and media accolades, the album debuted at No. 3 on the album charts while also placing high with retail, hitting top 5 in sales with LifeWay and top 10 with Family Christian Stores. Positive reviews and radio feedback continues to pour in, showing there’s no doubt with the band's return. People love Audio Adrenaline!

RADIO AIRPLAY:
The album’s first single, “Kings And Queens,” continues to climb the Christian radio charts and be heard on stations all across the nation. Currently, the hit song is No. 2 on the Billboard Christian AC Indicator and No. 6 at Billboard Hot AC/CHR, and No. 8 on both Billboard’s National Christian Audience and AC Monitored. Over 100 Billboard reporting stations are already on board with the hit single.

Preparing for street week, the band did close to 40 radio interviews over two days, talking with radio stations and networks all across the country. They also headlined a K-LOVE Listener Appreciation album release party in Oklahoma City on their street date.

MEDIA ACCLAIM:
What has the media been saying about Audio Adrenaline's return? With comments about the band, such as "a fine-tuned Audio A," and about the album, "a soaring, sweetly bombastic rush of anthemic melodies," their return has certainly been a welcoming one. The band has received features in key outlets such as Billboard online, Christian Retailing, Gospel Music Channel, and Charisma, and are also gracing the cover of CCM's current issue. Here is a highlight of the stellar reviews that have been pouring in:

"...Audio Adrenaline already looks like Christian music's comeback of the year. Fans old and new will likely want more than a download of this one."
- CBA Retailers + Resources

"Kings & Queens is a big, bold, short-and-sweet crowd ready burst of joyous energy and larger-than-life choruses....an album that more than matches their best."
- MusicOlogy

"It's looking to be one of the best pop rock records in recent memory...this just may be a match made in heaven. I'm eager to see how this new identity of Audio Adrenaline continues to bloom."
- JesusFreakHideout

"A solid album from start to finish."
- CCM

"Kings and Queens is an easy listen, with smooth and memorable vocal stylings of lead singer Kevin Max and pop-rock upbeat musical arrangements....this is certainly an album that does not disappoint the listener. It will be exciting to see what comes of this re-introduction as a band...writing songs for the Kingdom and continuing to live out their faith for the least of these."
- Frequency.fm

"...an album you'll want to listen to again and again. Older fans will be surprised to hear how much of the original sound has crossed over into this new formation, yet old and new listeners alike will enjoy the exciting melodic prospects being presented here."
- New Release Tuesday

To support the new album, Audio Adrenaline is currently headlining the highly anticipated “Kings & Queens Tour.” The tour is running in 30+ cities across the U.S. and is sponsored by ChildFund International. The “Kings & Queens Tour” also features Dove Award winning bands Group 1 Crew, Seventh Day Slumber, and Manic Drive. For tour dates and more information, visit AudioA.com.

Kings & Queens is the ten-song album featuring Audio Adrenaline's new lead vocalist, Kevin Max and long-time band member bassist Will McGinniss, who are joined by CCM vets Dave Ghazarian (Superchick) on guitar, drummer Jared Byers (Bleach), and singer-songwriter-keyboardist Jason Walker. In 2007, the original band members gathered in Hawaii along with their biggest fans for what they thought was their last performance. Since that finale concert, founding Audio A members Mark Stuart and McGinniss have tirelessly worked to raise awareness and support for the Hands & Feet Project, their non-profit comprised of two children's villages in Cyvadier/Jacmel and Grand Goave, Haiti, which cares for 100 orphans and abandoned Haitian children. Net proceeds from the sales of Kings & Queens goes directly to Hands & Feet Project. For more information about this very special organization, please visit HandsandFeetProject.org.
