The Results are in and it was a hard fought contest . In the end, Doug's song won with 60% of the combined Rewards Club voting and text voting - however - based on Text voting alone (since you could text vote more than once a day) Jaci's song got 58% of the text voting! Thanks again to everyone who voted in our 2008 Christmas Novelty Song Contest - Doug's song - "Snoopy's Christmas" by the Royal Guardsmen, won by the largest margin in Novelty Song Contest history 71% to 29%. There was very little love for Kim's song - "Blue Christmas" by Porky Pig. Thanks for having fun with us again this year. Thanks to everyone who voted in our 4th Annual Christmas Novelty Song Contest. Over 43,000 votes were cast - many in the final hours. Both songs traded leads in the final days of voting. Two hours before the voting ended - "Teeth" was in the lead by 1,000 votes - but at 10am Central on 12/21/06 the final count was: - You're a mean one, Mr Grinch - 51% with 22,083 votes - All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth - 49% with 21,002 Looking forward to next year!!!

Thanks to everyone who voted in our Christmas Novelty Song Conest 2005! With close to 20,000 votes cast, it was a hard fought battle between "Frosty The Snowman" and "Put One Foot In Front Of The Other". In the overall voting, it was a 50/50 tie - but when you get down to the actual numbers...

DOUG & KIM'S CHRISTMAS NOVELTY SONG FOR 2004 Thanks to the thousands of you that voted in our novelty song contest this year. The winner (for the 2nd straight year) is the song selected by Kim "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas". Despite a strong showing for the cow song "We Wish you a Dairy Christmas" - the hippo squeaked past with a scant 7% victory (1260 to 1094) ... Doug says "Just want till next year!" For those interested in the "It's a Cow Christmas" CD - you have to be lucky and try to find a used copy that might be sold on Amazon or Ebay. If you need a copy of the Hippo song - it's available on various CDs (including Dr Demento) - check Amazon or other favorite source ...

DOUG & KIM'S CHRISTMAS NOVELTY SONG FOR 2003 After a hard fought campaign, involving over 700 emails and countless phone calls, the Chipmunk Song was declared the winner of "Best Christmas Novelty Song for 2003." The margin of victory - 38 votes. Remember - every vote counts! True to his word - the Chick Fil A Cow served breakfast to Kim.
